Located in Nearby Fort Plain, New York, the JKO Arena is the hotspot for Performance Horse Activies - featuring a Team Roping Buckle Series and Practice Pens every Tuesday night May through September...and that's just for starters!  We've been known to thrown in Extreme Cowboy & Barrel Races, so check back often!

Our practice pens are a great place to tune-up with a new partner, work on your swing or start a young horse.  This laid-back,  no pressure atmosphere is great for beginner to advanced ropers. 
Cattle to suit any need.  Rope all evening for a $20 cattle fee.

***From Canajoharie/Palatine Bridge NYS Rte 5: Go 4 miles North on Rte 10. Turn right on Stone Arabia Rd. Go 2 miles. Turn right on Kahn Rd. Go ¼ mile. Arena on the right.
 
***From Fonda: From Rte 5 heading west, take 2nd right after Stewarts onto Hickory Hill Rd. Go 7 miles. Take your 5th right onto Kahn Rd. Go about ½ mile. Arena on your left.
 
***From Johnstown: Take Rte 67 west to 334. Turn left towards Sammonsville. Bear right at bottom of the hill onto County Hwy 116. Go ¼ mile. Take first left onto Persse Rd (116A ). Go ¼ mile. Take first right onto Indian Rd. Go approx 5 miles. Kahn Rd will be on your left just before the white Methodist Church. Go ¼ mile. Arena will be on your right.  ****Do not take Kahn Rd from New Turnpike—it is a seasonal road with sharp turns****
